£45,000 - £47,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Company Van (Personal Use Included)

Winner Recruitment s Facilities Management team is proud to be partnering with a respected, family-run service provider in their search for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer & AC Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business that values its people and delivers expert solutions to a broad range of commercial clients.

This mobile role will involve a 60/40 split between air conditioning and refrigeration duties, with a mix of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor installations.

• Perform PPM (planned preventive maintenance) and reactive repairs on a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including:

  • VRV/VRF systems

  • Split systems

  • Cold rooms

  • Chillers

• Carry out minor installations of AC and refrigeration units as required.

• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to restore functionality.

• Complete all relevant service reports and documentation accurately and on time.

• Liaise with clients on-site, maintaining excellent customer relationships.

• Ensure full compliance with health & safety and company regulations at all times.

• Proven experience in a similar Refrigeration Engineering role.

• Relevant qualification, ideally NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent).

• FGAS certification (Category 1) is essential.

• Additional qualifications such as CO2 handling are advantageous.

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams/manuals.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Comfortable using handheld devices for job logging and reporting.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Competitive salary: £45,000 - £47,000
