About the Roles
We are seeking a passionate and proactive couple to fill the roles of General Manager and Head Chef, working together to uphold and enhance the pub s reputation for exceptional food and service. These live-in positions require a dynamic duo capable of managing multiple responsibilities with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
Oversee daily operations of front of house and kitchen
Maintain high standards in food quality, hygiene, and safety
Manage key performance indicators including budgets, wastage, and gross profit
Drive the business forward, pushing for growth and excellence
Handle accommodation bookings and guest relations
Ensure smooth coordination between food service and hospitality offerings
Lead by example, fostering a positive team environment
Ideal Candidates
Experienced in managing high-quality food establishments and hospitality operations
Knowledgeable in managing accommodation booking systems
Hands-on, dedicated, and able to work under pressure
Strong leaders with excellent communication skills
Self-motivated with a drive to maximise the pub s potential
Couples, with one partner as a skilled chef and the other as a capable General Manager
Ideally, drivers or those with reliable transport due to rural location
