SEN Specialist in Pucklechurch

Pucklechurch, Bristol Start: ASAP Hours: Full time or part time

A welcoming primary school in Pucklechurch is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide focused 1:1 support.

This role is ideal for someone withSEN experience who is passionate about helping pupils access learning in a supportive, structured environment.

Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies, encourage engagement, confidence and emotional regulation. Support classroom routines, transitions and small group work.

• Previous SEN experience is essential.
• Calm, patient and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and rapport building skills.
• Level 2/3 TA qualification advantageous.
• Driving licence beneficial.
• SEN training highly valued, including: Understanding Autism, ADHD Awareness, Team Teach / De escalation Training, Trauma Informed Practice, BSL or communication based training, Makaton (highly desirable).
