Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Hackney Teacher to join a well-supported department at a secondary school in the Hackney area. This exciting opportunity is open to both NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers) and experienced educators.

Start date: 23/02/2026
Contract type: Temp-to-perm
Hours: Full time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (plus parents evenings)
Minimum pay rate: Pay to scale
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in the UK
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
