Just Recruitment is looking for a Sales Office Administration Supervisor to join a manufacturing business in Ipswich.
Reporting to the Sales Office Management Team, the postholder will provide essential support to the business by overseeing the administration team's operations and supporting individual and team performance through guidance, training, feedback and ongoing support.
A key emphasis of the role is the management of the customer approval and onboarding process from start to completion, requiring proactive liaison with customers and internal stakeholders, collation and review of required information, and ensuring all new and existing customer applications remain on track.
Duties include:
Taking full accountability for the team and its output - managing day to day workload within agreed KPI's in line with growing business demands.
Supervising the Sales Office Administration team, ensuring high customer service standards and company procedures are being met.
Providing structured training and guidance to pro-actively encourage individual and team development to ensure succession planning.
Actively working with other supervisors and management to ensure a consistent approach within the department.
Providing an empathetic and emotionally intelligent approach to demonstrate a positive, nurturing and encouraging supervisory style.
Primary point of contact for new potential approved contractors (customers) throughout the approval
process with pro-active and professional communication.
Issue of pre-qualification questionnaires and managing customer queries in relation to completing
documentation.
Review of Customer submissions for completeness, grading of responses.
Liaison with relevant colleagues/departments relating to specialist information & set up.
Tracking of the approval process to meet deadlines and managing communications to all parties.
Key skills / qualifications / criteria:
Team spirited and proactive approach with "can do" attitude and ability to motivate others.
Sound administrative experience.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience desirable.
Excellent organisational abilities including prioritisation of team workload to meet KPI's.
Ability to provide a high level of accuracy and attentional to detail.
Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Full time: Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm).
Hybrid Working available after successful completion of probationary period (min. of 3 days in the office, up to 2 days at home).
