Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Maths specialist looking to make a real impact in secondary education? We are seeking a dedicated Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school environment on a full-time, 5-day per week basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who thrives on supporting students to build confidence, deepen understanding, and achieve their potential in Mathematics.
The Role
Provide targeted in-class and small-group support in Maths across KS3 and KS4
Work closely with Maths teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning support
Support students of varying abilities, including those who need additional intervention
Help create a positive, focused, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Holds a degree (preferred, particularly in Maths or a related subject)
Is confident, proactive, and able to build strong relationships with students and staff
Is committed to professional development and continuous improvement
