  • Leading incident and near-miss investigations with clear root-cause analysis
  • Writing, reviewing, and approving RAMS and supporting permit-to-work systems
  • Delivering toolbox talks, briefings, and practical safety guidance
  • Tracking corrective actions and escalating significant risks where needed
  • Championing a positive, proactive safety culture across operations

Skills:

  • NEBOSH Diploma (essential) with IOSH membership desirable
  • Strong operational H&S experience within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or other high-risk environments
  • Proven experience working on live sites with High Voltage electrical systems, substations, or energy centres
  • Practical knowledge of HV safety rules, permits, and Electricity at Work Regulations
  • Confidence to challenge unsafe practice and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach

Why apply?

  • Meaningful, site-based safety leadership role
  • Flexible part-time structure (3 days per week)
  • Competitive 65,000 FTE salary
  • Opportunity to shape operational safety performance within a critical infrastructure environment

If you are ready to bring credible, hands-on H&S leadership to a high-voltage operational setting, we would love to hear from you.
