Interim Property Consultant (Repairs & Voids)

Panoramic Associates is supporting a Local Authority in the East Midlands to appoint an Interim Property Consultant to oversee the demobilisation of the current housing maintenance contractor and the mobilisation of two new providers delivering responsive repairs and voids services. This is a key assignment focused on ensuring a smooth operational transition and maintaining service continuity for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the demobilisation of the outgoing contractor, ensuring compliant data, asset, and operational handover.
- Manage the mobilisation of two incoming contractors (repairs and voids), ensuring operational readiness across systems, processes, governance, and reporting.
- Coordinate mobilisation plans, risk management, and programme tracking, providing updates to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure service continuity and performance stability throughout the transition period.
- Support the establishment of early contract management and performance frameworks.
Experience:
- Proven experience leading contract mobilisation/demobilisation within housing repairs, maintenance, or asset management services.
- Strong understanding of local authority housing operations, particularly responsive repairs and voids.
- Effective programme and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate at pace in a complex environment.
- Available within 2 weeks notice to start.
