An opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Surveyor to join a professional property services firm in the Ashford, Kent area: working within their property management function. The role combines day-to-day property management with professional advisory work and offers scope to broaden into other surveying disciplines.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Managing a mixed property portfolio on behalf of clients
- Acting as the primary point of contact for landlords, tenants, and stakeholders
- Providing professional property management advice in line with RICS standards
- Overseeing maintenance, compliance, and service charge matters
- Preparing budgets, reports, and management documentation
- Supporting lease advisory and wider surveying work where required
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
- RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor (essential)
- Experience within property management, commercial or mixed-use preferred
- Strong knowledge of property management legislation and best practice
- Ability to manage portfolios independently
- Professional, client-focused approach
- Strong organisational and communication skills
