HGV Tanker Driver

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced HGV Tanker Driver on an ongoing temporary contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HGV tanker vehicles safely, following all PPE and health & safety procedures

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly

• Ensure correct vehicle positioning, loading and unloading

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness

• Work collaboratively with depot, workshop and driving colleagues

• Act as a professional, customer-facing representative at all times

• Operate vehicles in a fuel-efficient and environmentally responsible manner

• Accurately record mileage, fuel usage and relevant documentation

• Attend training, team meetings and support new drivers when required

• Demonstrate flexibility to work nights and weekends where needed

About You

• Full Category C+E (Class 1) licence

• Valid Driver CPC (DCPC) and Tacho card

• Previous experience driving HGV vehicles (tanker experience desirable)
