A local authority in Norfolk is seeking several Housing Options Officers to join the team on an exciting homelessness project, focused on reducing backlogs and supporting households at key stages of the homelessness journey.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing a caseload of homelessness applications under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996
  • Completing S184 decision-making and ensuring compliance with statutory duties
  • Delivering housing advice and homelessness prevention in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act
  • Drafting and reviewing Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs)
  • Working closely with internal teams and external partners to prevent homelessness and support move-on

What you'll need:
Proven experience as a Housing Options / Homelessness Officer within a local authority
Experience using Locata (desirable)
Ability to attend the office 1-2 days per week
