Accredited Clinical Coding Auditor

Salary - £38,682 to £46,580 a year Pro Rata Per Annum

Yorkshire

Hybrid Role - 2 Days on location and 3 days working from home. This role will offer a fully remote option in 2026.

Overview
Seeking an experienced Accredited Clinical Coding Auditor to deliver NHSE-mandated DSP Toolkit audits and bespoke coding audits, ensuring coding accuracy and compliance with national standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver DSP Toolkit and bespoke coding audits

  • Provide clear, constructive audit feedback

  • Develop and maintain a robust audit programme

  • Identify coding issues and support quality improvement

  • Produce clear, professional audit reports

  • Mentor trainee or junior coders

  • Work independently and manage workload effectively

Essential Requirements

  • Approved Clinical Coding Auditor (NHS England registered)

  • Experience delivering clinical coding audit programmes

  • Strong analytical and judgement skills

  • Excellent communication and ability to explain complex findings

  • Advanced keyboard and time-management skills

  • Ability to prioritise and work independently
