Job Description

Greenwich Time to Talk is looking to recruit a Senior Administrator to coordinate and oversee the daily activities of the administrative team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Administration Manager and Business Manager to ensure administrative processes are efficient and streamlined and the team are providing a seamless, high quality service.

Main duties of the job

As well as processing referrals, booking appointments and keeping accurate records, the Senior Administrator will also be responsible for managing the admin team's workflow, creating weekly staff rotas to ensure a fair and efficient division of labour. They will also be instrumental in troubleshooting daily admin challenges, such as rescheduling appointments and finding appropriate slots for clients with specific requirements.

As a strong team player, the Senior Administrator will be a key go-to person within the team, providing guidance and support to other colleagues. Drawing on their previous experience, they will be able to review and improve existing administrative processes and suggest initiatives to drive efficiencies and enhance service delivery.

Person Specification Education and qualifications
  • GCSE English and Maths grades A-C / 4 - 9
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years previous administrative experience, preferably NHS
  • Experience of using patient record databases
  • Experience of using Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience supervising staff
Skills, knowledge and abilities
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Team leadership and interpersonal skills
