Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are recruiting for a well-established contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex packages across multiple sectors, including construction, nuclear, civil engineering, renewable energy, and oil & gas. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint either a strong Quantity Surveyor or a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The business delivers major projects for leading clients and Tier 1 contractors. Their portfolio includes high-value schemes across the UK and internationally, offering exposure to technically challenging and commercially diverse projects.
The successful candidate will have proven NEC contract experience and ideally come from a subcontractor background, with the ability to manage commercial responsibilities from procurement through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial management of projects from tender through to final account
- Administration and management of NEC contracts
- Valuations, variations, change control and cost reporting
- Subcontract procurement and package management
- Client and contractor liaison on major projects
Key Requirements
- Experience operating at QS or SQS level
- Strong NEC contract experience (essential)
- Subcontractor background preferred
- Experience across engineering, fit-out, M&E or steel sectors (desirable)
- Strong commercial, contractual and reporting skills
Location & Working Pattern
- Office-based role with occasional visits to client sites
- Office-based Monday to Thursday preferred
- Friday remote working is available
