Trainee Teacher - Nationwide (UK)
School-Based Salaried & Tuition-Fee Routes Available
Thinking about becoming a teacher but not sure where to start?
Want hands-on classroom experience while training, not just theory?
Ready to turn your degree into a career that genuinely makes a difference?
We are working with schools across the UK to recruit ambitious graduates and career-changers into Trainee Teacher positions starting throughout the academic year. Opportunities are available nationwide - including London, the South East, Midlands, North West and beyond - across primary, secondary and specialist settings.
These are school-based teacher training routes, meaning you'll train inside a real classroom from day one, supported by experienced mentors while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both salaried and tuition-fee training pathways are available, depending on location, subject and experience.
What the Trainee Teacher Role Involves:
Training in a school, not just at university
Teaching lessons under supervision while gradually increasing responsibility
Receiving structured mentoring, coaching and regular feedback
Working towards QTS (and PGCE in many cases)
Gaining experience in behaviour management, planning and assessment
Being part of a professional school staff team from day one
Why Train This Way?
Learn on the job with real classroom experience
Earn while you train (on salaried routes)
Strong employment prospects upon qualification
Tailored support and subject-specific development
A clear, practical route into a long-term teaching career
We support applicants at every stage - from initial application and school matching to interview preparation and securing the right training route.
