Role

Civil Enforcement Officer - Bromley - Full Time; 42.5 hours per week.

£29,503.50 per annum rising to £32,708 from 1st November 2026.

About the role

Do you enjoy working outdoors? Are you over 18? Do you like helping people and have great communication skills? Excellent customer service skills and enjoy being on the go?

What you will do
  • You will help members of the public, patrolling streets and council car parks, advising and upholding parking restrictions.
  • You will issue parking tickets but will not have targets as this job is about creating a positive impact on the local neighbourhood.
  • You will report any defects to street furniture, such as signs and road markings and look out for any violations of civil laws.
  • You will provide a high level of all-round customer service, providing the public with useful knowledge and advice.

Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local area. Patrolling areas, providing advice to residents, and members of the public, and whist enforcing road traffic orders and issuing parking fines. CBT or Driving Licence would be beneficial.
