Children's Support Worker

Children's Support Worker required to work in Belfast (Dunmurry) at a long-established facility that provides short break respite care for children aged 5 - 18 years of age.

First Choice wishes to recruit a staff member that fits in with the team ethos of developing strong and lasting relationships with children and their families and aim to provide person centred care, as close to the child's home routine as possible.

Ideally we wish to recruit staff who are available to work full time hours and are flexible around working a range of shift patterns to include 7.30am-2pm, 1.30pm-10pm or long days 7:30am-10pm. The rate of pay ranges from £12.31 to £20.80 per hour, depending on the shift worked, and is paid on a weekly basis. These positions are for a minimum of six months.

What We Need From You

• Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check
• Experience working with children with learning disabilities
• To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
