Support Worker

Role: Support worker (female candidates only)

Contract: Temp on going

Location: Coventry

Caseload: Max 11 (6 men/5 women)

Hours; 8-5pm 4 days, 11-8pm 1 day.

As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping individuals experiencing homelessness to achieve positive life changes and move towards more sustainable lifestyles. You will work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to meet contractual and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate regular one-to-one meetings and client participation activities
• Develop, review, and update individual support plans within required timeframes
• Support individuals to achieve agreed goals, including maximising benefits and managing personal budgets
• Carry out assessments and risk assessments using a person-centred, trauma-sensitive approach
• Coordinate with colleagues to deliver effective in-house support services
• Signpost and refer to external services where additional specialist support is required
• Maintain accurate and timely records using a web-based client management system
• Work in partnership with external agencies such as housing services, health professionals, and community support teams
• Ensure all practice complies with safeguarding, equality, and health & safety policies
• Participate in duty management rotas as required
• Engage in training, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
