Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Site Labourer to join a contractor team working at HMP Channing s Wood Prison (TQ12). The role involves typical site labouring duties such as general housekeeping, filling skips, traffic management, receiving deliveries, and unloading materials. Candidates ideally will have previous experience working within a prison environment, holding EL1 and BPSS clearance. If you do not currently have this clearance, the employer will apply on your behalf; however, please note that this process can take up to four weeks. The role is starting as soon as possible and is expected to last for 12 months.
Skills
- Valid CSCS card (mandatory)
- Experience in general site labouring duties
- Ability to manage site housekeeping and waste disposal
- Traffic management skills on site
- Experience handling deliveries and unloading materials
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to undergo security clearance (EL1 and BPSS) if not already held

Certifications & Standards
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) mandatory
