We are recruiting Executive Officers (EO) to join the Private Office and Parliament Directorate at the Ministry of Justice. These roles sit at the very heart of the department and provide a vital interface between senior officials, Ministers, Parliament, and Whitehall.
Depending on interview outcomes, successful candidates will be matched to EO roles across the directorate. Positions range from Ministerial diary management and PA-style support to roles within the Parliament team and wider support functions.
This is a fast-paced, high-profile environment where no two days are the same. One day you may be coordinating urgent Ministerial meetings, the next drafting or supporting responses to Parliamentary business.
Supporting Ministers, senior officials, and stakeholders
Managing diaries, meetings, and competing priorities
Handling fast-moving and sensitive information
Delivering a high-quality service under pressure
Working collaboratively across teams and directorates
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work at pace, reprioritise, and manage multiple tasks
Proactive, resilient, and confident in a demanding environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships
A positive "can-do" attitude and commitment to teamwork
Experience working in a private office environment
Experience acting as a PA or diary manager
