Nursery Nurse - EYFS
Location: Waltham Forest
Salary: Minimum 100 per day PAYE
Start Date: January 2026
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, full-time, term time only

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming and well-regarded nursery school in Waltham Forest, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team from January 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early year's professional who thrives in a nurturing environment and is keen to make a meaningful difference during the most important stage of a child's development. The successful Nursery Nurse will play a key role in supporting children across the EYFS, helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment where every child can flourish.

The role will include:

  • Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children's emotional and social development
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
  • Building strong relationships with children, staff, and parents

The school is looking for a Nursery Nurse who:

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years/EYFS
  • Has at least 1 year of experience working within an EYFS setting
  • Has a warm, caring, and patient approach
  • Is reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
