Job Description

Facilities Supervisor
Location: Melton, Woodbridge
Term: Temporary, initially for 8 weeks
Hours: 37 hours per week (rota basis of early and late shifts, occasional weekend work)
Salary: £15.84 Per Hour

Our client seeks a facilities Supervisor to lead a team providing services across two buildings, including reception, housekeeping, security, cleaning, compliance, and maintenance. The role also ensures full FM compliance across all managed properties on a temporary ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support FM staff, ensuring high service standards.
  • Act as main contact for the client and liaise with contractors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Oversee FM compliance: inspections, testing, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Plan and manage projects, risk assessments, and site quality checks.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Handle staff development, training, and performance reviews.
  • Provide out-of-hours cover on a rota basis.
Skills & Experience
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practice
  • IOSH managing safely (desirable)
  • Asbestos awareness
  • Ability to pass a basic DBS check
  • Familiarity with public sector
  • Competent with desktop and mobile IT systems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and solve problems effectively
