Job Description

Milk Education are currently working on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Newcastle that caters for children and young people with complex needs, primarily Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves supporting students with a range of additional needs in both one-to-one and small group settings, helping them access learning in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. You will work closely with class teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs), promote positive behaviour, and encourage social and emotional development.
