SEN Teacher - Specialist Secondary School

Location: Manchester
Salary: MPS1 - MPS6 + SEN Allowance
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Start Date: February 2026

Are you a qualified SEN Teacher (QTS) looking for a full-time, long-term opportunity in a thriving Manchester specialist school? Do you have a passion for supporting secondary-aged students with ASC, ADHD and behavioural needs through creative, engaging teaching?

This welcoming and well-resourced SEN school is seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join their team from February 2026. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality education, supporting academic progress, and creating a positive, structured learning environment for students with additional needs.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to students with SEN
  • Teach secondary-aged pupils with ASC, ADHD and behavioural challenges
  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of support staff within the classroom
  • Use the school's excellent resources and specialist facilities to enhance learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community
