VANRATH are delighted to be partnered with a market leading manufacturing organisation with a reputation for their ambition and innovation, in their recruitment of an Finance Business Partner (FP&A). Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will provide financial insights and projections to support decision making and strategic initiatives. This is initially a 6 contract with the opportunity for extension, candidates who are immediately available are preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The FP&A Business Partner will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the departmental goals are achieved. This includes assisting in the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

KNOWLEDGE AND SPECIALIST SKILLS

Support to Senior Finance Manager and Finance Team to:

  • Produce annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans while working closely with the relevant business partners/heads of department
  • Lead Financial Reporting and KPIs re Business Operations (department level and business units) and Projects - to include development and maintaining financial models for each business unit
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting
  • Business Partner with Department Directors and Project Leadership to support achievement of strategic and operational goals
  • Lead the product Margin Reporting process, to include accurate costings and implementation of automated systems to calculate margins
  • Lead Product Price List implementation and on-going review in line with business margin targets
  • Support development of financial policies and procedures
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to company wide ERP system with particular emphasis on Business Operations
  • Attend team and 1-1 meetings and fulfil reporting requirements as required
Education / Experience
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with hands on approach
  • Experience in manufacturing environment and/or commercial finance
  • Experience in developing and maintaining financial models to assist with financial planning and analysis
