HMO Licensing Officer

One of my local authority clients based in Norfolk are on the lookout for an interim Housing Standards Officer to support their team.

Contract: 6 Months +

Rate: Negotiable DOE

Start Date: January

Hours:37hrs per week

Day-to-day duties

1) Conduct HHSRS property inspections.

2) Carry out necessary enforcement actions on both CAT 1 & CAT 2 hazards in line with the Housing Act 2004.

3) HMO inspections and related licensing.

Additional duties/ Responsibilities include:

- carrying out reactive complaints

- HMO inspections and applications

- Empty property complaints

Must have:

- HHSRS

- Driving license
