Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and equipment
Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, completing effective fault finding and repairs
Work on both mechanical and electrical systems (mechanical or electrical bias considered)
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety and food hygiene standards
Provide on-call cover as required
Time-served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification
(NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent)
Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within manufacturing
Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance knowledge
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Experience with PLCs, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and automated systems is advantageous
Flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Food or FMCG manufacturing experience is essential
