Claims Manager (Senior, Technically Focused)

An established and growing insurance broker is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join the business in a newly made role. This senior, technically focused role is designed to take ownership of complex claims and significantly reduce the technical claims workload currently managed by the broking team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage high-value and complex financial lines claims, working closely with sophisticated, international clients, including those with exposure to US courts and global jurisdictions.
  • Engage directly with clients and prospects across sectors such as fintech, medtech, and technology.
  • Shape and evolve the future claims handling strategy as part of the company's strategic development.
  • Build and lead a claims team as the function grows.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical claims experience, particularly within financial lines.
  • Background from broking, insurer, or legal sectors is valued.
  • Proven ability to manage complex claims and interact with international clients.
Compensation & Working Arrangement

Hybrid working pattern with two days per week in the office; salary range £55,000-£65,000, depending on experience.
