Senior Paralegal - Residential Conveyancing

Location: Lincoln Full-time Office-based

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Paralegal to join a busy residential conveyancing team. The role is ideal for an experienced paralegal with strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage a complex caseload independently, while providing support to the wider team.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the Law Society's Conveyancing Protocol and experience within the CQS framework, supporting the delivery of smooth and efficient residential property transactions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and progressing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, including:

    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

    • Remortgages

    • Transfers of equity

    • New-build transactions

    • Shared ownership schemes

  • Supporting fee earners with complex cases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation

  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other stakeholders

  • Conducting due diligence and reviewing title and property documentation

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files and key dates

  • Providing guidance and mentoring to junior paralegals or support staff

  • Contributing to process improvements and efficient workflow within the team



Skills and Attributes

  • Significant residential conveyancing experience, ideally at a senior paralegal level

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Commercial awareness and proactive problem-solving approach

  • Professional and client-focused with a personable manner

  • Ability to work collaboratively and support a busy team environment

  • Knowledge of Proclaim or Perfect Portal advantageous
