Environmental and Sustainability Manager

Futures is working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business in the West Yorkshire region, who due to a period of continued growth are looking to appoint and Environmental and Sustainability Manager. The successful Environmental and Sustainability Manager will have a solid understanding of environmental, social governance and corporate social responsibility frameworks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop CSR frameworks
• Develop ESG policies
• Drive continuous improvement across environmental, social and governance areas.
• Ability to identify process and system improvements
• Ability to work with various stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Produce annual sustainability reports to a high standard.
• Experience engaging with external carbon auditors to measure, verify and support reductions in carbon emissions.
• Knowledge of relevant sustainability accreditations
• A track record of contributing to or delivering carbon reduction plans using responsible and innovative approaches.
