Job Description
- Manage and oversee daily operations within the engineering and manufacturing department.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate and lead a team of staff to deliver operational excellence.
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements where necessary.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise workflow and resolve issues.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare regular performance reports.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Shift Manager should have:
- Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
- MUST have RTW in the UK
