We are urgently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant who can start ASAP to support a busy finance team based in Hemel Hempstead.
This is a great opportunity for someone with purchase ledger / accounts payable experience who is happy to come in, pick things up quickly, and provide hands-on support during a busy period. There is also the potential for this to develop be extended into a longer-term assignment.
Working as part of a friendly and supportive finance team, you will be responsible for:
Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
Assisting with supplier account maintenance and basic reconciliations
Supporting weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
Helping with staff expenses and company credit card reconciliations
Responding to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed
Previous experience in a purchase ledger / accounts payable role (even at a basic level)
Available to start immediately (ideally tomorrow)
Good attention to detail and a reliable, hands-on approach
Comfortable working in an office-based role
Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
Immediate start with quick interview process
