Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer

Location: Hartlepool

Salary: Circa £42,000 £44,000 per annum

Working Hours:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Call-out cover required on a 1 week in 5 basis

Job Description:

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing machinery and systems across a busy manufacturing environment. You ll need to be time-served, ideally with experience in heavy industry or chemical environments, and able to work confidently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fault finding and repair of low voltage (415v) machines
• Working with rotating machinery
• PLC and electrical fault finding
• Ensuring control systems are properly maintained and updated

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years experience in an engineering role
• Strong manufacturing background
• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• Experience in the chemical or heavy industry preferred
• Electrically biased background advantageous
