Gardener / Grounds Maintenance

Location Merthyr Tydfil
Hours 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 7.30 am - 3.30 pm
Pay Rate 12.70
Contract: Temporary
Duration: 1 month, possibly longer

The Role
Manpower is recruiting a Gardener on behalf of our public sector client to support day to day grounds maintenance across a busy site. This is an active position where you will help keep outdoor areas clean, tidy and well presented. Please note this role involves working outside in all weather conditions.

Main Duties:

• Litter picking across the grounds
• Emptying outdoor bins
• Leaf picking and general tidying
• Pruning shrubs and maintaining green areas
• Gritting during icy weather
• Other general grounds work as required

What You Will Need

• Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience is essential
• A full UK driving licence is essential
• A positive approach and the ability to work well with others
• Good physical fitness as this is an active, outdoor role
• A reliable and conscientious attitude
