Job Description
Location: Stratford, London
Rate: 509 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 6-month rolling contract
An experienced Rolling Stock Engineer is required to join a Vehicles Engineering team supporting a major urban rail operator in London.
The role will focus on providing technical support across rolling stock systems, including maintenance support, defect investigation, engineering change, and compliance within a safety-critical environment.
Key requirements:
Proven experience in rolling stock / vehicles engineering
Strong understanding of rolling stock systems
Experience working in regulated rail environments
Ability to support fault investigation, assurance, and technical reporting
Confident working with depots, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Experience within metro or large passenger fleet environments is desirable.
