Role: Commercial Debt Recoveries Solicitor
Location: Banbury

An established and well-respected regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Debt Recoveries Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution team based in Banbury.

The Role

• You will manage a varied caseload of commercial debt recovery matters, acting for a broad portfolio of businesses ranging from SMEs to national organisations. The work will include:
• Advising clients on pre-action strategy and recovery prospects
• Issuing county court and high court proceedings
• Enforcement action, including charging orders, third-party debt orders and insolvency processes
• Drafting pleadings, statements of case and settlement agreements
• Conducting negotiations and managing defended debt claims
• Working closely with internal teams and maintaining strong client relationships

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years' PQE within commercial litigation or debt recovery (all levels considered)
• Strong knowledge of the CPR and debt recovery procedures
• A commercial, solution-focused approach
• Excellent communication and client-care skills
• Ability to manage volume work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
