About the Role
Clarus Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary phase in Barking & Dagenham to appoint a passionate and committed Class Teacher. This role is suitable for experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to grow their classroom practice and make a meaningful impact on children's learning and development.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in line with the Primary National Curriculum, ensuring all pupils make strong progress academically and socially. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to uphold a positive school culture and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, teach and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Create a secure, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and support pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to help pupils fulfil their potential.
Establish high expectations for behaviour, wellbeing and conduct.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to promote pupil success.
Participate actively in school life and contribute to whole-school improvement.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are eligible for UK teaching roles.
Have excellent subject knowledge and understanding of primary pedagogy.
Are committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
Demonstrate strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
