Drama Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Drama Teacher for a secondary school in Ellesmere Port for a temporary 6 month full time contract.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate Drama Teacher to work in a welcoming secondary school in Ellesmere Port. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring students through performance, creativity, and confidence-building.

The school have a great performing arts department and due to a planned long term absence, the school are looking for someone who can commit to full time working 8:30am to 3:30pm and attend occasional school meetings.

The role is to cover from January through until July 2026. The role is open to applications from all levels of experience teachers from M1 to UPS.

• Teaching Drama across key stage 3 & 4
• Planning and delivering engaging, practical lesson
• Encouraging student participation, creativity, and self-expression
• Assessing progress and supporting students of varying abilities
• Contributing to school productions and extracurricular activities where appropriate
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment

To be considered for this role, we will need -

• Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
• A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
• A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
