Finance Manager

Finance Manager Central Manchester (3 days in office) 60,000 - 65,000

Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with an iconic brand in Manchester, a real market leader in their industry who are looking for a qualified Finance Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Due to international expansion, this role is newly created for an ambitious. driven individual who can have a real impact on both reporting & systems, a large part of the role encompasses business partnering with Dept managers.

You will manage a small team and report into an exceptional ACA qualified mentor.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the month end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. This will include P&L analysis and full balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage 2 direct reports
• Working capital management and cash forecasting
• Capital investment appraisal and review
• Support with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process to support the decision making process
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, and present information clearly, through different methods, to finance and non-finance professionals
• Validating and distributing commercial and customer information within the business on a timely basis
• Prepare management reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Review and continually develop and enforce financial policies and procedures
• Support in any financial due diligence requests

Ideal candidate:

• Confident communicator, with an ability to challenge stakeholders
• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• Line management experience
• Advanced Excel skills
