Overview
A leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking a Project Administrator to support project delivery teams across major infrastructure schemes. The business operates as a tier one partner on long term frameworks and prides itself on direct delivery, strong values and investing in its people.
This role is key to keeping project information organised, compliant and flowing correctly between teams.
The Role
The Project Administrator will provide accurate and efficient administrative and document control support to the project delivery team, ensuring systems, processes and records are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Compile and update project reports including KPIs
Coordinate meetings, site visits and take meeting minutes
Provide general project and office administration support
Assist with onboarding new team members including inductions and training requests
Manage site, system and office access for project staff
Liaise with client and contractor administration teams as required
Support site teams with scanning, recording and collating project documentation
Document Control
Maintain document and drawing registers
Manage project documentation through EDMS platforms such as SharePoint or Asite
Log, distribute and quality check incoming and outgoing documents
Maintain the project SharePoint site
Ensure correct use of file management systems across the project team
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in a Project Administrator or Document Control role within the built environment
Strong working knowledge of EDMS systems, particularly SharePoint
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced project environment
