The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Maintaining strong but fair behaviour management
- Creating a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing progress and supporting pupils to achieve strong outcomes
- Working collaboratively with KS1 colleagues, support staff, and SLT
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
This role would suit an enthusiastic and reflective Year 2 Teacher who thrives in a high-performing school environment.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1, ideally as a Year 2 Teacher
- Strong understanding of phonics, early reading, and KS1 assessment
- High expectations for behaviour, progress, and attainment
