Test Engineer (18 Month FTC)

This opportunity is for a Test Engineer who thrives on precision and innovation to join the team on an 18-month fixed-term contract for a UK leading organisation.

You'll take ownership of the testing lifecycle, designing strategies, executing manual and automated tests, and ensuring every release meets the highest standards. From managing defects and creating test environments to driving automation and reporting insights, you'll play a critical role in delivering reliable, high-quality software.

• Experience: 3-5 years in software testing with proven QA expertise.
• Technical Toolkit:
  • SQL Server for data validation and complex queries.
  • Test Management Tools: JIRA, Xray, TestRail.
  • Automation Tools: Cypress or Playwright.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft stack and Azure-based applications.
  • Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and risk-based testing.
• Certifications: ISTQB or similar (highly desirable)
• Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
