Job Description

Are you an experienced care home manager looking for a dynamic leadership role across multiple settings? We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Peripatetic Registered Manager to oversee the operations and quality of care across several care homes. This is a unique opportunity to influence care standards across different communities while working in supportive and engaging environments.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in care homes or health and social care settings
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and regulatory compliance
  • NMC registration desirable
  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • Completed recognised care management qualification (e.g., ILM, RMA) desirable
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage budgets, occupancy targets, and operational KPIs across multiple sites
  • Committed to promoting person-centred care and best practice

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day running of multiple care homes and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to staff across sites
  • Act as Infection Control Lead and promote safe clinical practice in all locations
  • Develop and maintain systems to ensure high-quality resident care
  • Analyse complex situations affecting care quality and implement action plans
  • Ensure residents individual needs and wellbeing are prioritised
  • Represent the homes positively within professional and community networks
  • Mentor and develop staff through appraisals, training, and support
