Class 2 HGV Night Driver Southampton, Hampshire

TLP Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Night Driver to work for our client based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team environment, carrying out palletised deliveries across the South of England.

• Night shifts start times between 00:00 and 02:45am

• £17.75 per hour

• Palletised deliveries using a curtain-side vehicle with tail lift

• Friendly, enjoyable environment with a real team mentality

• 24/7 support from our specialist team

• Pro-rata paid annual leave for PAYE employees

• Deliver bakery products to retail outlets, wholesalers, and convenience stores across the South of England

• Use straps, nets, and securing devices to ensure goods are loaded safely

• Complete thorough daily vehicle safety checks via company phone

• Maintain regular communication with the transport team

• Participate in training to stay up to date with industry best practice

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence

• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Strong customer service skills

• Good geographical knowledge and ability to work to deadlines

• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and motivated

• Team player with a positive, confident attitude
