Defence Litigation Solicitor

You'll join a specialist team defending clinical negligence and healthcare-related claims on behalf of major insurers, healthcare providers, and public sector bodies. The role offers genuine variety and exposure to complex, high-value matters while working within a supportive, well-structured environment.

Your work will involve:

• Managing your own caseload of clinical negligence and healthcare claims.
• Advising clients on liability, quantum, and strategy across a range of cases.
• Drafting pleadings, preparing witness statements, and attending court or settlement meetings.
• Working collaboratively with senior solicitors and partners on more complex matters.
• Maintaining strong relationships with long-standing institutional clients.

You'll ideally have:

• Qualified as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland (or England & Wales with NI qualification in progress).
• At least 1-5 years' PQE in defence litigation, clinical negligence, or a related area such as personal injury or insurance litigation.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-driven approach.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple files efficiently.
