Compliance Officer - Private Rental Sector (PRS)

Office-based - Central London

Salary £38-£40k

DallasWylde are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to ensure our clients' private rental portfolio meets all current regulations and the new PRS legislation coming into force in 2026. The successful candidate will lead on compliance monitoring, contractor coordination, property audits, and documentation management across seven high-end residential blocks totaling 1000 units.

This is a growing business with an exciting presence in the PRS sector. This newly created position due to business growth is an exciting opportunity to really make this role your own alongside the company's senior management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certificates & Legal Documents - Valid Compliance Certificates

    Objective: Ensure all statutory compliance certificates remain valid at all times.

  • Remedials - Completion Within 60 Days

    Objective: Resolve all inspection-identified remedial actions promptly.

  • Reporting & Accuracy - Compliance Tracker Accuracy

    Objective: Maintain a central source of truth for compliance status.

  • Reporting & Accuracy - Monthly Report Submission

    Objective: Provide timely, clear reporting to management.

  • Health & Safety - Major Safety Breaches

    Objective: Prevent significant safety failures across the portfolio.

  • Health & Safety - Safety Check Pass Rate

    Objective: Maintain properties in a condition that passes safety checks on first visit.

  • Health & Safety - Risk Assessment Updates

    Objective: Keep all risk assessments current, relevant and accessible.

  • Communication & Teamwork - Response Time to Emails

    Objective: Maintain high responsiveness and reliability.

  • Communication & Teamwork - Avoiding Escalations

    Objective: Solve issues proactively to avoid complaints or senior escalation.

About You
  • Strong knowledge of PRS and housing compliance
  • Experience managing large property portfolios
  • Skilled in coordinating contractors and tracking scheduled works
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
