Would you enjoy working for a family run business delivering new build housing solutions?
We are working with a specialist client who are looking to expand their pre construction team with a construction Estimator. You will be responsible for the pricing of new build timber frame housing projects, working alongside a pre construction & sales team to successfully deliver tenders & quotes to private and developer clients.
As a Estimator you will:
- Read from architectural & design drawings to perform take offs
- Present back quotes & tenders back to clients directly
- Assist the commercial department on drafting contracts & orders
- Be willing to travel to site when required
We would welcome conversations with candidates who:
- Have a solid background in the construction industry - timber frame would be beneficial
- Possess experience within different software packages such as MS Office & AutoCAD
- Hold strong communication skills across all levels both internally & externally
- Can demonstrate basic design skills within timber (truss, joist or frame) - not essential
- Are willing to work within a close knit team and on your own
