HR Officer - Growing Regional Law Firm

What You'll Be Doing
In this broad and hands-on HR role, you'll work closely with Partners, managers, and the wider support teams to deliver effective HR across the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and enhancing the appraisal process
- Organising and supporting training and development programmes
- Providing first-line HR advice to managers on policies and employee relations
- Assisting with disciplinary investigations and preparing relevant documentation
- Managing internal communications and engagement initiatives
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity
- Providing administrative support to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years' HR experience
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) preferred
- Strong working knowledge of core HR processes (ER, recruitment, training, appraisals)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional, discreet, and comfortable handling sensitive matters
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Competent with Microsoft Office and able to pick up new systems quickly
- Full UK driving licence
Contract Details
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
