We're looking for an HR Operations Manager to join our HR Senior Leadership Team on an 8 month fixed term contract basis in London. In this role, you will lead a small, dedicated team that keeps our people processes running smoothly and efficiently across Penguin Random House UK.
This role has been created to free up the Head of HR Operations to focus on the implementation of our new HRIS project, so you'll be stepping into a pivotal position ensuring that business as usual HR operations continue seamlessly during a period of transformation.
A January 2026 start date is essential.
About The RoleYou'll play a key part in ensuring our HR operations deliver a seamless employee experience - from day to day administration and data integrity to reward cycles and policy governance. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, you'll oversee HR Administration, Reward Operations, and People Data, acting as a vital link between our HR specialist, Business Partnering teams, and external partners.

SalaryThe salary band for this opportunity is £55,000-£60,000 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus scheme and benefits.
Hybrid WorkingWhile our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you will work from the Embassy Gardens office in London 2 days per week (Tuesday & Thursday).
