15 to 18.00 per hour, overtime paid at x1.5 after 40 hours, Permanent Role, 40 hours per week , Early finish on Fridays, clean modern workshop

Location of the Welder Fabricator role: Batley

A well-established engineering business is looking to recruit an experienced MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator on a permanent basis.


This role is ideal for a skilled fabricator with strong welding ability across aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel, and confidence using a full range of fabrication machinery.

The work is very bespoke in nature - working on a variety of projects, keeping the work interesting and varied.
Duties of the Welder Fabricator role

  • MIG & TIG welding of aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel
  • Fabrication of components and assemblies from engineering drawings
  • Use of workshop machinery including press brake, guillotine, folders, saws, and other fabrication equipment
  • Carrying out work to a high standard of quality and accuracy
  • General workshop duties to support production requirements


We would like to hear back from people for the MIG TIG Welder Fabricator that have: (Even if you don't have all the skills we would welcome you to apply)

  • Proven experience in MIG & TIG welding (Company are happy to train people in Tig welding if you haven't much experience with this)
  • Confident welding aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
  • Strong fabrication background with hands-on machine shop experience
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
